Baskow is making a late season push.best defender on the team has to be either Charlie or Meltzer
remember when we went from Haxstool who woulfnt communicate with his players to AV who also wouldnt talk.. strait to Torts who surprize surprize also doesnt..I’m pretty sure he was praised for his communication with players, also.
Yeah, that was wrong too.
How can you not give it to DeAngelo? Opponents haven't scored a goal with him on the ice in the past 3 games.best defender on the team has to be either Charlie or Meltzer
The guy behind the bench called him lazy so that has something to do with it no matter what the numbers say.Something weird is going on with TDA, while he struggled for a couple games before he was benched, he was actually playing his best hockey by far after the TDL (13g):
CF 49.31%, xGF 58.88%, HDCF 57.32% GF/GA 13-9.
So it's hard to imagine that his play is the reason he was benched.

When did he call him lazy?
When he gets caught up the ice which is all the time instead of coming back hard he was just dogging it coming back and most of the time . Whether they were scoring on it or not it just shows his attitude . He is a disaster and I hope he is gone .Something weird is going on with TDA, while he struggled for a couple games before he was benched, he was actually playing his best hockey by far after the TDL (13g):

It's not like we can't get the tape that shows these things....No one I s pushing Totrs to do anything....especially to be more progressive on offense.
Christ we are talking about a guy who criticized a skill play on National TV, and THEN we hired him. Sometime people are who they show you they are.

It should go to Hart for being subjected to this shit group playing in front of him.Wait until he gets the Ashbee...
I'm more excited to see that winner than anything else this year. Do you give it to Provy by default for the 10th time? TDA for the points? Risto for his "comeback"? Seeler for presence?

Tortorella doesn't know any of that.
The guy who "doesn't believe in getting tired" spends nights studying HDCFs
That horse should at least win the Class Guy award, if not MVPThe guy spends his spare time getting kicked in the head by horses. The cognitive torque isn't there.
He called them "foundational titans" and lauded their contributions lol. Literally told us "they'll be here as long as I'm a part of this organization". It's not a f***ing start, it's endless oblivionI'm going to play Devil's advocate here, but what if the Flyers do it right this offseason and being in good hockey executives to reshape the operation? It seems like the guy replacing Scott has subtly fired a shot at the senior advisors in that they will only speak when asked, which to me says either get on board with the direction they're moving in or f*** off. It's a start. I'm guardedly optimistic.
Remember you asked me about how I became a tenacious Flyers fan? And I talked about the foundation that Ed Snider built. The three folks that were referred to as the “Three Wise Men,” and then others who are involved with us in one way, shape, or form. One — the fact that they are still part of the organization speaks to the vision of Ed Snider to build a family. And it speaks to the vision of Brian Roberts and Comcast, understanding that the past is prologue, and in order to build a bright future, you need to understand your foundational roots. To me, growing up where I grew up, these individuals are the foundational titans — and I use that word, I’m gonna be emphatic about it — the foundational titans of this organization. They will be part of the organization as long as I’m here
