I’ve never mounted a TV in my life, I always sit 2/3 up at a movie theater to be at eye level, and if a friend or family member has a mounted TV they’re dead to me. I’m a purist.

I alluded to this the other day, but the same evils that convinced people to mount TVs also made factory default motion smoothing — that frame rate increasing soap opera look. I once went over a friend’s parent’s house and they had their TV — mounted of course — on motion smoothing. I couldn’t live like that.

We've only lived here for a few months. Working on it. Between plumbing, landscaping, painting, furnishing the inside, mattress, etc etc that comes with starting from a white empty psych ward looking space, interior decor is on the back burner.
