I like watching this team, more than any team the last decade other than 2019-20 or 2017-18.
They play fast, they play hard, and it's always an adventure.
Yes, they struggle to finish, and the defense sometimes resembles a Chinese fire drill, but they've been in almost every game, even the Toronto game they were even in possession and chances for the most part, but couldn't finish plays to save their lives.
The PP sucks but the PK has become very good and dangerous, think they're one off the league lead in SH goals.
And six of the nine starting forwards are 25 and under, as well as York on defense.
I'm looking forward to the end of the year and a chance to see some of their prospects.
Next year should be even younger and more interesting, JVR, Hayes and probably Provorov gone, maybe Laughton.
And yes, I'm waiting for Scott to be retired, Fletcher to be fired, the advisors to be gently put out to pasture.
I'm willing to give Briere a chance, he seems to have a rapport with Torts, hopefully he's on board with a rebuild, and can convince Scott's replacement.
