There were reports when we claimed Sedlak that we were interested in signing him as a FA over the summer. Wouldn't surprise me if he was only interested in playing for/coming over for a contender and now that he's not on that he would be OK with going back to the Extraliga.

I doubt it's the Flyers' decision.
If Sedlak wanted to play for a contender, he could merely wait a month or two, he'll be in demand at the TDL.

So if true, this probably is a family issue.

AA would be fine for this season, if you haven't noticed, we're a bit thin at center.
Since he's been centering Lycksell and Foerster, it would make it easier for them transitioning to the big team this spring.

Right now, Frost, Cates, Laughton, Sedlak, Brown.
Would you prefer Brown over Anisimov? Especially if you want more offense?

Sounds like family type issues - the money is better here, and he was a prime TDL candidate to get traded to a PO team.
