This is sadly and probably our roster if we were healthy

jvr coots atkinson
laughton hayes tk
farabee asinimov tippett
deslauriers brown macewen
sedlak

provorov ellis
sanheim tda
seeler braun
risto

hart
sandstrom

I think LHV would beat them 7 of 10 times lol

Even without Sedlak here i doubt Allison, Brink, York, Cates and Frost had zero chance of making the opening night roster

Farabee - Couts - TK
Laughton - Hayes - Atkinson
JVR - Frost - Tippett
Sedlak - Brown - MacEwen (b/c Allison will never be healthy for more than a few games)

I don't think it's a good time to add another 8 x $7m+ contract for a 28 year old when they have no idea what Couturier's future is. BoHo is having a career season after 17 games (14 goals already), and odds are he will never have a better one.

I'm up for trading Provorov this summer. Preferably for futures.
i must have read something wrong, i thought his contract had 2 years left at just under 6. i hear what your saying though, thankyou for the reply.

So you think Cates would not play?

:skeptic:
Opps. Sedlak or MacEwen or Brown would sit b/c Cates has yet to play RW, unless they shift Farabee to RW and Tippett to the 4th line.
Shows how the injuries impacted the lineup.

Cates and Frost have been interchanging wings and lately playing fairly similar minutes at 5x5 (Cates also PKs).
I don't think anything is settled, neither had shown enough to be guaranteed 3C, much less 2C.
But it's a long season and no rush to make a decision, there are no alternatives in LHV.

I wonder if Frost will ever get that audition to be a 2c

I'm still waiting for Seeler to be the AHLer we were told he'd be, and Braun as the 7. I was repeatedly assured that's why they would be and that I was wrong for saying they were always destined to be roster mainstays.

At some point you'll need to accept that the Flyers are dead and not let this bother you as much as it does. I know it's driving you crazy, but the organization is simply not worth it.
No no no, this team isn’t the Flyers. The real Flyers are in Ottawa and Arizona now. ;)

This is the Minnesota Orange. Until Fletcher, Clarke, Holmgren, and a few others long gone, and we have a GM who can give us even a tiny sliver of hope, the Flyers brand is in hibernation.

I just enjoy fact checking to embarrass the management/coaching ball fondlers. All I care about now is that the team loses as much as possible, in the most embarrassing way possible.

I'd be fine with Frost at 3C if he got decent wingers there.
He had Willman (who he played with in LHV) and Farabee, Cates had Tippett and MacEwen.
Just aren't enough good wingers to go around right now.
You could move Bellows up, he's a former 1st rd pick. :sarcasm:
