Will they ever have a regulation win again? Looking at production, after Terry and Z it drops off significantly. I knew they were going to be bad defensively but thought they’d be middle the road in offense and the PP.

Eakins is going to likely give Gibby more games off than usual and he should. Time to embrace the Tank and get a Top 3 pick. Lol

On the new show, Wednesday, a character brought up if another was watching playoff hockey and if they were rooting for the Ducks or Penguins. Netflix predicting an ANA v. PITT Stanley Cup.

I would like to give that show a chance, especially after reading this

OT: I absolutely loved Dark on Netflix. One of my all time favorites, immediately. Watched 2 months ago. But it might not be for all tastes, I just love mind-bending stuff.

Maybe they want him getting top line time in the AHL vs minimal time in Anaheim.
Absolutely get that on its own but we ran 11 forwards last game and he was one of them. Even if Comtois is good to go and Grant just needed one night off I’d say we’re two forwards short, one at absolute minimum, and I gotta wonder where that’s coming from. The Gulls also don’t play until the weekend, I believe.

There may well be another kid coming up to get a cup of coffee that just hasn’t been announced yet?

haven't heard anything on Comtois even. sometimes they announce coming availability the day of games, but usually feel like we hear if a guy is getting close in advance. he might not even be close at all . this is kinda interesting.

I expected us to have a top-10 PP unit and a below average offense because we can't win puck battles in our zone. The only way we could win was to outscore the opposing team in a shootout. Unfortunately, only our opponents got the TPS report of both teams scoring high. We've given up the most goals in the league with 111 goals against and the 4th worst scoring team with 65 goals. (You read that correctly, three other teams have scored less than us!) The Verbeek gamble on a defense that can't play defense didn't pan out.

The addition of Klingberg and McTavish to the PP unit hasn't created much production, which is beyond saddening.

Our ES offense was average until running into a lot of tougher teams in the last 13 games. We've scored 3 or more goals in the last 13 games only four times. In this 13-game set, Anaheim has scored 8 PP goals out of 24 goals scored.

hmmm...

I didn't realize we've improved significantly on the PP by 8.6% points. Progress! :thumbu:

Got my tickets to the game in Ottawa next week. Due to pandemic restrictions, it will be my first chance to see Z play live in a Ducks jersey (no fans in attendance when Ducks came to town last year). So that's exciting.

Sens had a BOGO sale for black Friday, for $170 total (Canadian) was able to get a pair of good seats for that game and to see Buffalo on new year's Day.

Lucky! I was hoping to get there next week but won't be able to. hoping for the Dec 22 game against DC instead.
