Dude we get it, you spam this idea over and over again.

who cares if Verbeek gives Terry 8+ million, holy shit relax
I’d say he’s right, I mean I said it in the summer, but yeah no need to post it every chance you get.

There’s also a good chance it doesn’t amount to much difference. Terry probably would’ve seen all the 8x8ish deals and pointed to that and I’m not sure he really goes a lot above that, if at all. Given you have a lot clearer picture with Terry now, very possible it’s more than worth it to be sure he didn’t just have a hot year.

Even when he gets his contract, the cap will jump rapidly soon (this off-season or next?). I say he deserves it. My only question with Terry is, do we actually let him ‘suffer’ here the whole duration of his contract. I understand players get better, but I would’ve thought that they would be a tad bit better than they are now.

Verbeek is going to somehow need to hit the floor again somehow, especially if players like a Klingberg or Vatrano don’t work out.

Weren’t some posters complaining over the summer about having so much cap space, and not doing much with jt?

McTavish hasn't quite made his mark at even strength yet (although I wouldn't say he's been bad), but he has been useful on the PP.

In the OHL and WJC I thought he was mostly a PP specialist as well.

Either way, he is making a lot of small, useful plays that benefits the team. He can hold onto puck, backcheck, etc. I'm looking forward to seeing him after the next (full) offseason and hopefully with better linemates.

He’s also drawing penalties which is huge for this team. PP actually looks exciting again and don’t cringe when they get a PP.

Honestly not even that bad, considering the defense we're rolling.
