I mean at this point he's not in back in junior because he still needs to learn a ton from there especially not in the regular WHL season. I still think the fact he's from Kamloops and Kamloops hosts the Memorial Cup and he's a hometown boy playing for the Blazers played a massive role.

man I hope the grand return of JFK is real. If Blumel also flashes with Delly and Wyatt looking like they’ve guaranteed their spots already there’s going to be some very tough decisions for Nill over the offseason with Stank and Bourque joining. Fun problems.

Gotta get Miro a real partner or another puck mover to slot in with Lindell so Nils can bump up. Feels like one of the kids is going to get traded to make that happen.

Couple of goals for Stankoven tonight. 19 points in 8 games, now 4th in league scoring. 5 points back of first and has played at least 4 games less than everyone ahead of him





Also some notable stats for Texas:
Mavrik Bourque has assists in back to back games after no points in his previous 5 games since his opening night goal. 3 points in 7 games for him hopefully this recent production can be continued

Damiani has just 2 assists, no goals, in 6 games. Not gonna earn a call-up with those numbers.

Peterson with 2 assists tonight in his first game back

Harley had a goal and 2 assists tonight. His first points since an assist on opening night 6 games ago

I think this was Harley's first game playing on the top pair after skating on the bottom pair for the first 6 games, hopefully that trend continues. Bourque seems to have taken Blumel's spot on the top line next to Kero and Barber so he should have a nice productive stretch of games coming up.

I think Scott White said something to the effect of this being one of the strongest Texas squads they've assembled on paper. Hopefully they win a lot of games this year, but it might be a little tougher for top prospects to get big ice time.

Doesn't fully work capwise. 150k ish short. If they need Khudobin it'll be on an emergency basis because that doesn't cost capspace. They can call up Scheel or Poirier i guess but Khudobin costs too much .
