I appreciate that he included the poor decision that Grushnikov made that led to a goal. That said, Grushnikov looks even more physical than last year, and he's definitely more confident with the puck.

He looks like he will at least be a better skating Hakanpaa that will be an option to lug the puck up ice. Hopefully he can develop some more offense this year though.

Stranges is a scratch tonight for Texas. They have too many players imo. Roster is pretty stacked

AHLTV is proving to be garbage tonight. Stars game I can watch with the Away audio, but if I select the Home audio, I get both home and away overlapping.

Not really convincing me to purchase.

Gotta love getting blown out when the coach decides to scratch one of our best forward prospects and bury our best d prospect on the bottom pair. What would we ever do without seeing Curtis f***ing McKenzie out there?

What prospect was scratched?

Just looked at the lineup, I guess it isn't surprising he wont be an everyday player that top 9 is pretty stacked and I assume the coaches want more defensive focused/PK guys on the bottom pair which Gardner/McKenzie fill.
But Tanner Kero as the top line center? I like the guy but he's 30. What are we doing here?

Stankoven's WHL season begins today, game #5 for Kamloops. 2nd period just started.

They just interviewed him about his camp in Dallas. He's a great kid and said all the right things, but I got the impression he was really disappointed he didn't stick around in the NHL.

Just picked up a pretty nice assist as well

Andddd there's his first goal of the season as well

Stankoven's contributions to this game warrant spoiler tags otherwise it's just way too much to have to scroll through later.

Assist + 2nd goal

1st goal

Future Stars legend confirmed.

Blumel scored again but this one got called off for goalie interference

Also Seminoff has a goal for Kamloops tonight. Assist to Stankoven :)

Blumel just scored AGAIN, this one counts. 3 goals (and a 4th called off) and an assist in his first 2 AHL games

Stranges has an assist tonight as well

Also, Stankoven added a goal to go along with his assist tonight and Seminoff added another goal. Still 2 periods to play

I like the spoiler tag idea, so the highlights are here:

Don't have Stankoven's goal yet
