Well, no offense but you should use your head a bit when it comes to Stankoven. Hometown kid that plays for the Memorial Cp host, with an owner that has put millions into the event, who btw is also born and raised in Kamloops. Stank is only 19, and not even a first round pick.

You really are that ignorant to all those very legitimate factors playing a part? Good grief.
None of those are legitimate reason. Gtfo with that nonsense, and being a 1st round pick has f*** all to do with anything

Teenage forwards should only be on an NHL regular season roster if they are getting top-6 minutes and opportunities, otherwise you're just stunting their development. Plenty of examples all around the league of this happening (the Rangers are repeat offenders, even).

Also, if you have more than one teenager in your regular season top-6, you aren't a playoff team.

we'lll see cowboy.
No we actually won't, no NHL franchise FO, even this FO, is going to come out and say, "Our dumbass owner, thought the chance of winning a memorial cup 8 months from now, was more important than icing the best possible NHL roster now, so we're sending him to Junior, where we hope he won't get injured, so he can play in a meaningless tournament our owner thinks is import.", even if he were to get sent down, which at this point, based on what we've seen (which obviously isn't a complete picture), would be some next level shyster shit.

I am a borderline psycho in my defense of Logan Stankoven. If I ever saw someone hurting a Stankoven for no reason I would ****ing lose it. In grade 11, on the last day, the grade 12's decided they would do a graduation prank. They got Logans, broke their legs, and sent them waddling around the hall during class change (you know how busy hallways get). I was in class when my friend sent me a text about this. I stormed out of class, grabbed a couple of buddies who were on their spare period, and started a huge fight in the hallway.
I would have stabbed the guy, but that is why I don't carry knives on me.

I've only been able to watch the 2nd period so far, but Ertel has looked really good. North Bay was down 4-0 when I started, and Ertel just had a nice primary assist on the PP as the period was ending to get NB within 1 goal.

He had 2 assists in his first game so he has 3 points total in his first 2 OHL games.

He's more physical than he was in the NCAA which makes sense considering he was 18 and most of those guys he was playing against are 22 years old, and he's fairly aggressive pursuing the puck. Definitely turned some pucks over that he then turned up ice to create scoring chances.

Damn ... this was Ertel's first assist last night. Shows that puck pursuit and determination I've been seeing this game.

Somehow Grushnikov is getting PP time, and he picked up an assist on the PP. He quietly has 3 assist in 4 games so far.

Nothing special, but this assist came on the 2nd goal. His other assists so far were just essentially him getting the puck to a more skilled player as well so I didn't post them prior. One of the assists he's not even in the frame. It was just a crazy individual effort by his D partner Donovan that basically went coast to coast.

Looks like that trade worked out well for him.

He went from a top team where he was buried to a top-line player with Saskatoon. This is definitely giving him an opportunity to show his offensive ability.

That 2nd goal was beautiful.
