if he becomes a top prospect for us, you might need to wipe some Sem--off your face

Blumel has a goal in each game this season so far. With the Johnston line not doing much at ES and already having some changes made, you have to wonder how soon before he comes up?

Johnston is far, far from the problem, but maybe you do send him back to the OHL to save an ELC year and let Dellandrea center that 3rd line. It's probably the best way financially to get some of the AHL talent in the lineup to see if they're NHL-ready.

Logic checks out on sending WJ to the minors, but I think he's shown that he should stick around. Jacob Peterson is waivers eligible and isn't playing games. You could call up Blumel and rotate him into the lineup in place of Guryanov and Kiviranta.

I forgot Peterson was waiver-exempt. I wonder why he's not already down in the AHL. At a bare minimum, you could have just kept Kero for a Hanley-type situation where it doesn't matter if he ever plays.

I'm starting to get Klingberg-type AHL dominance vibes just before he came up to the NHL for good.

Well lads, just back from the Kamloops Blazers game tonight. The Blazers lost 4-3 but that's neither here nor there as Stankoven scored a hat-trick and was far and away the best player on the ice, superb stuff.

Our sixth round pick from this year Matthew Seminoff was also playing for the Blazers tonight but I didn't see much out of him tonight. But Stank is the real deal.

Blumel has a great one timer. Put him on the pp where guri was supposed to be.

No point doing it during the road trip. They'll likely make some changes when they're back home. If Peterson hasn't slotted in once by then and not played well if he did he's 100% going down to at least play some games.
