Bedard destroyed tschigerl's hitmen. 4+2 and 13 shots on goal...
Holy shit
At least top 2 in the CHLI mean they got the best dmen in the WHL
At least top 2 in the CHL
I get they are hosting the Memorial Cup this year, but to trade your next 4 first rounders, and then add to that yet….for 2 players who you will only have for a few months….is just absolutely insane to me.
What would Bedard return? 8 first rounders+++++?
On another note, Zell winning the Memorial Cup would be a nice addition to his already impressive junior career.
Maybe read the page you are posting on to start.Massive trade. Holly guacamole! I didn’t know where to post this. But WOAH!!!

I'm very curious what Mintyukov will look like in a different system. Will he still be used as a pure rover or will he be reigned in to play more of a two-way game?

They’re an interesting team. They don’t have any real superstars, but get contributions up and down their lineup. Obviously that changes a bit with the additions of Mintyukov and Morrison. Also worth mentioning that the 67s recently acquired our old friend Logan Morrison, who led McTavish’s Hamilton team in scoring last year. Morrison is currently 2nd in scoring in the OHL, 1 spot above Mintyukov.
EDIT: I also just realized that Ottawa is the #1 team in the OHL with a record of 28-6-1-1.

Kamloops plays Everett on Friday….so Zellweger will see his old teammates right away.
You can’t trade firsts in the OHL. So instead they throw around 2nds and 3rds. Also WHL draft kids a year younger than the OHL. Lot easier to miss on 1sts/more time to restock. The prices are still ridiculous but I don’t think a WHL first is worth the same as an OHL first. It’s interesting how the teams clearly value picks differently in the WHL vs OHL.
Thanks for the info. I didn’t know that. I’m definitely more in tune with the WHL than the rest of the CHL.You can’t trade firsts in the OHL. So instead they throw around 2nds and 3rds.
