Roster Notes: for tonight's game against Manitoba
As the old saying goes, “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it,” and Head Coach Troy Mann is following that mantra with his 18 skaters, making no changes on the forward lines or defence pairs. There will be a change in the crease, though, as Kevin Mandolese gets his first start since early December, following a six-game stint with the Sens ECHL affiliate, the Allen Americans. Mandolese will be backed up by Mads Sogaard, with Antoine Bibeau, Alex Breton and Jack Dougherty all healthy scratches again.

Who to Watch:
After a solid couple of games already this week, Egor Sokolov has moved into 13th in the AHL scoring race with 33 points. His shootout goal last night also puts him in the league lead in that category with four, and he’s first in shootout percentage after going 4/4 (100%). Forward Ridly Greig and defender Jonathan Aspirot both bring four-game point streaks into tonight’s contest, with Greig notching seven points (five goals, two assists) and Aspirot four points (two goals, two assists) over that span. In net, Kevin Mandolese makes his first start in a month after posting a 4-1-0 record, with a 2.45 goals against average and .927 save percentage, in six ECHL appearances in Allen.
Manitoba Moose forward Evan Polei has points in three straight games (three goals, two assists), including a goal in Manitoba’s overtime win in Laval last night. Jeff Mallott also has three goals in two games against Belleville this season, including one game-winner, while Jansen Harkins had a goal and six shots on net last night in his return from a lengthy NHL call-up to the Winnipeg Jets.
