No one is talking about him but I could see Monahan becoming an Av at the deadline (at 50%).

Montreal will trade him for sure and he looks healthy. He's good on the dot and has decent production too.
Didn’t LeBrun say we’re connected to him?

He has been vetted. Don’t know why y’all have to be so dismissive all the time. We could have Sakic confirmed as a poster here and people would still give him shit if he shared information
Interesting. What does that mean "he has been vetted" ? Can't mean that whatever he says is true because that's impossible. So it means what ? That it was confirmed that he is in the business and has access to credible information ?

Ehhhh if Sean Monahan is the target the Avs should definitely, definitely not have to give up a 1st/Newhook/OO/Behrens. None of those assets should be on the table for that guy. Hell I'm hesitant to throw Foudy on the table.

Ya'll want Kaut/Bowers/etc go right the f*** ahead though lol.
This isn't the broken, injured Monahan that you watched with the Flames.

Dude is healthy and has 5G, 9A for 14 pts in 21 games so far this season. He's also 65% on the faceoff dot. If he keeps that up he'll cost more than a 1st and will be the 2nd best option at the deadline after Horvat.

I wouldn't bash on Bednar too much for OO's minutes vs. the Canucks, I know I read somewhere that Bednar had actually planned to play OO more but ERod's injury made him re-tweak his lines. Think it was in Baugh's article on the Athletic.

I hope McFarland moves Kaut straight up for Puljujarvi. Kaut had proven to be a fine bottom 6 player who is responsible enough, mix in the cap savings for the Oilers and I think it’s a win/win trade.

It’s going to be hilarious if the Canucks think they are competing and start buying but then realize that they are still a ways off and start selling instead.

I do still want Horvat. Think he’d fit the Avs quite well, also think a Lehky-Horvat-Nuke 2nd would be awful to play against. This is assuming 9296 would be out together. Otherwise, Landy-Horvat-Nuke gives the Avs a heavy line that can still play their style

I’d have a chuckle if the Avs did go for this and he ended up playing a key role in an Avs repeat after some early years of Monahan>MacKinnon

seems like Oilers want toughness and need more help on D. so...

Kaut and McDermid for Poolparty. if Im not mistaken, he is signed for one more year only so if things go wrong, just let him walk. but I liked him since his draft year so Im convinced he would blossom in the Avs. one Finn in each of the top 3 lines. BOOOOOOM!

Hey I'd sign off on that deal in a second, but if Ken Holland makes a trade THAT stupid, he should be fired on the spot.
