How many youngsters would be on the team? I'm not up to date with every player's situation.

Slaf
Mesar
Roy
Farrell
Ylonen
Kidney
Heineman

Mailloux
Barron
Trudeau
Reinbacher
Struble

Leaves 5 spots upfront, 1 spot on the blueline. If Barron stays in the NHL, 2 spots. Isn't that enough?
Hard to tell right now, the older prospects will definitely fight for spots on the big team, a couple could end up on the opening day lineup.

Filling up Trois-Rivières. Though Bisson should be a Rocket. Happy to see him back.

I wonder what they're up to with regard to defence.

Assuming 7Ds in Montreal (Matheson, Guhle, Savard, Barron, Harris, Kovacevic, Xekaj), Laval looks something like this:

Trudeau - Wideman
Struble - Mailloux
Norlinder - Keeper

They qualified Beaudin and Laval signed Bisson. Both of them are not exactly depth defencemen at this level and should be expected to have a place in the lineup.

There's also recently drafted Tourigny, but I guess he could start in 3R for now.

Guess that's why they also chose to trade Fairbrother
Somehow I don't see Wideman back in the AHL - I like him as our #7 in Montreal but I'm torn because I want all the young guys you listed to play ahead of him

Farrell - Andersson - Pitlick
Heineman - Maillet - Roy
Condotta - Stephens - Simoneau
Mysak - Beck - Kidney
Mesar, Novak

(Lots of talent, but this forward group doesn't have grit. We might need a goon to face Imama for 12 games in Belleville!)

Beaudin - Mailloux
Trudeau - Wideman (could be claimed on waivers)
Norlinder - Keeper
Struble, Bisson

Primeau

Too bad Engstrom won't be on the team. Would love to see him paired with Mailloux.

Beck can't play in the AHL this season, it's either MTL or OHL.

The 4th line will probably be McKay-Mysak-Mesar/Kidney

Which NHL team is going to keep Primeau on their roster? He's been completely out of place in the big league so far. I would imagine he clears waivers easily.
He's young and there are a few NHL teams with backups with worst AHL stats.
