That looks old. Is that before or after Blades of Steel?
We were playing Ice Hockey on NES and then Blades of Steel came out and it was revolutionary.
Literally nothing will matter to EA until micro transactions get cracked down on. All EA has to do is release fifa every year and they’ll bring in minimum $1bil. I’m not surprised they don’t try. This is the EA business model. Pull in a ton of cash off 7-8-9 'games' in a generation where only one is a legit new game... the rest are roster updates.
Pong! We had one of those too. Just like the Atari 2600...you had to loosen the screws in the back of the TV, insert the clips under the screwhead, tighten down and then simply enjoy what was for the day and age...instant freaking magic. God, seems like my life was so much simpler back then. Of course, it probably was since I was only like 7-10 years old during those years. Think I graduated to a Commodore64 at 10.Mine looked like this:

Kinda amazing that they did a video game with analog electronics. The control device was a potentiometer (variable resistor).Pong! We had one of those too. I learned today that the Avs apparently have an extremely weak defense outside of Makar. Dammit, I thought it was a strength. Guess we better tank for Bedard.
It looked like a terrible trade the second it was made and I was vocal about wanting nothing to do with karlsson. He was about to be overpaid and start declining - Thad not even getting into injuries. They wanted makar + and ppl here were on board.Revisiting the Erik Karlsson trade a few years later, it gotta be one of the worst trade in recent history.
To SJ: EK and his horrific 11.5M X 8 albatros contract. This contract has significant negative value.
To Sens: Tim Stutzle and Josh Norris
According the HF Dorion is a shitty GM though...
I guess the Karlsson deal magically erases the Duchene trade then.According the HF Dorion is a shitty GM though...
The last time I was super into a hockey video game, it looked like this.

It is not.Disney+ gets you ESPN+ for free which gets you pretty much every out of market game, unless it is nationally broadcasted. Is the Disney/ESPN/HULU package not a thing in Canada?
