As a side note and (hopefully) helpful tidbit…

A buddy and I were experimenting with the Sportsnet now app as it says you can only stream one device at a time. However we both logged in to the same account and watched separate live streams for a bit with no issues, although we only tried it for about a half an hour.

I think we are going to split the (stupidly overpriced) cost and try to share the service. They are also giving a discount to those that subscribed to the nhl live app last year for the upcoming season. It’s not ideal but looks to be the only way to get legal streams of Avs games in Canada.

Also, I haven’t read up too much on blackout restrictions but they will likely be an issue without a vpn.
I'm in the exact same situation living in Canada. My friends and I used to go in 4 ways for the NHL live pass and we could watch 3 of us at a time. But now this sn now app is more expensive and says only one stream/user at a time like wtf?

Would've been cool if the Golden Snitches tried something to honor the old LV Wranglers. Not like they had great uniforms themselves but if you're gonna go "reverse retro" with a team that's barely been around for less than a decade, may as well mine the history of hockey there. Whatever red monstrosity they broke out the last time (the "Oh Boy" jerseys as I like to think of them) didn't achieve that.

The thing you're not considering is that all Wranglers jerseys throughout their history are awful and barely even used a design team.

Although, with the old Vegas accents, that Philadelphia Flyers style template could have looked cool in Knights colors...

I know they were bad, super-generic, the color scheme is simple enough. Just saying it'd probably be a better route to take than whatever the hell it is they're reportedly doing.

But. yeah, something akin to what the Flyers got in Vegas colors would be better as well.

Yeah, I mean that was one of the ones that the Wranglers wore. You also see it in the CHL.

I like some elements in this one, and I like the motif of going for retro Vegas, but then they should've gone way overboard with it.

Something that really says Vegas. Do a tacky neon wordmark. Sell the ad patch to a porn studio.

I'd be all for that. What they're going with just looks like it's got bits and pieces from other jerseys clumsily tacked on. Like, there was no actual effort put in to designing it.

The Ducks RR was guilty of this, an attempt at mishmashing every element of their uniforms over the years into one big mess that just didn't work.

Anyway I forgot to comment on SJ going All Teal. That could be fun. That's two teams now who are getting away from black helmets/pants.

Incredible how badly the Ducks did with RR last time despite having a 90s cartoon brand to go off of.

The Sharks have a black gear version on the table. I would still go with that.

To an extent I agree, they are definitely lacking a piece on the backend. But their forward core is certainly something that is a plus area for them going forwards.
They have a legit #1 in Chabot and the 2nd best D prospect in hockey in Jake Sanderson.

We'll see if they land Chychrun but if they do...

And they have Zub who's a good partner for Chabot, but that makes the D pretty top heavy. After Sanderson, Chabot, and Zub it's pretty meh. Hamonic, Zaitsev, and Brannstrom isn't an ideal bottom 3. But if they could add Chycrun and/or Lundkvist(as a reclamation project) that could certainly get them closer to the playoff picture imo. Then they have Thomson and Bernard-Docker in the system who could hopefully fill out 1 or 2 bottom 4 roles. I don't think they're a playoff team yet, but they do have all the core pieces locked down to potentially make some noise.
