It's not just the media, it's fans too.

Pelletier is probably their best prospect and he made his NHL debut, it's pretty normal to ask the coach what he thinks of his first game and expect a real answer. Sutter is gonna Sutter though.

The media has over-dramatized the situation and are the reason in some ways but how Vancouver has handled boudreau is inexcusable…. And to replace him with tocchet, of all coaches? At least we won’t have to worry about them getting the new coach bump…

They took every chance they could to ask Bruce the same questions in every post game presser. Obviously Canucks management is to blame for the situation but trying to get the guy to crack every interview is shoddy reporting.
