Two achilles tears in 5 months. Athletes hardly come back from one tear and the ones that do look like a shell of themselves for the most part.

Pacioretty's career is over.

I think that was just an awkward chuckle meant to try and ease the obvious tension in the room. Bruce tries to smile a little as he says that, hence the attempt to try and keep it a little lighter, that's my takeaway. No one in that room is mocking him.
Some stupid people laugh at inopportune times.

"Nothing" happened and he injured it again. Likely done.

Talk about damaged goods.

Canucks:

- getting sued by a former employee
- disrespected the greatest goalie in franchise history
- about to trade their captain in part because they gave another player a terrible contract
- reportedly have pissed off their franchise forward to the point where he won't re-sign
- put a player's career in jeopardy because of mismanagement
- got publicly called out by the defenseman they're supposed to be building around
- currently screwing over their HC

All over the last few months too.

Lol Craig, channelling the inner pro-original six mantra that he and other long-term hockey blokes probably have a hard-on for. The correct answer is Columbus Blue Jackets, they've had it bad with every single star player leaving that market. Is there a team in another professional sport that has had worst luck than them? Could be Toronto Raptors, but at least they won a title before all the talent jumped shipped. Nuggets?

Every time I see Tage Thompson play I laugh at St. Louis. They got their Cup, but damn. Lol

Injuries suck and all, but that should give the Habs a better chance at getting Bedard. Why are they complaining? As long as the injury is not career ending
