Good luck with that.
If it gets out of hand I’ll simply nuke the thread and start fresh.

This still doesn't explain why my post was deleted in regard to the league's response.I get that it’s difficult because we are all different, but if this is to continue being discussed it needs to stick with being about Provorov and hockey, not personal beliefs and personal attacks for those beliefs.
In short, please stay on the topic of Provorov and hockey.

It is really bad… there is some unique charm to it, but they need a new building as badly as Calgary does.

Food quality and diversity, concourse width, bathroom quality, the amount of and size of screens, angles of bowls (this has gotten worse and not better IMO), sight lines… there’s really a ton that has changed. The early 90s was the end of the just needing a building era that quickly transitioned into the needing every amenity possible (maybe even a handy) era. What do you think are the main differences in arenas now, vs. in the 90s?
The respectful thing would have been to wear the jersey. It doesn't mean anything more when you put these awareness jerseys on than to acknowledge inclusion, basic human rights and respect. In the NHL sphere, it's mostly about inclusion and trying to undo a lot of the ugliness that's permeated a macho, mostly white male sport. People kill themselves over being left out, bullied, teased and ostracized and if you've ever had gay friends, they can tell you lots of things that would make you not want to be too quick to gloss over these things and pretend that this is all in a vacuum. Even small things contribute to intolerant attitudes, and the context of sexual abuse and bullying is important here.Who is saying respect isn't being shown? Provorov didn't attack them, didn't chastise them, didn't call them names. He refused to wear a jersey in support of LGBTQ. There is NOTHING wrong with that. Just because he doesn't believe things the way you want him to believe does not make this person a bad person or wrong.
You can say all you want it's about humanity, but religious people don't just give up the things they believe in because others - who may not value religion as much - want them to. It's not that simple.
I member how he was the next elite 15 time Norris winner. This is the most Provorov has been talked about since like 2018. Back when he was actually a good hockey player.

lol your only hope is to shut this one down until everyone forgets about it.
Probably, but I'm giving a chance
Would be fun to go back and review that draft thread to see how many posters were upset that he didn't slide to us at 10. I seem to recall quite a fewI member how he was the next elite 15 time Norris winner.
I can't speak to the player experience obviously, but I've always felt that the fan experience at the Honda Center is really underrated. Convenient parking options, decent area, friendly away team atmosphere (as opposed to the assholes at Staples/Crypto) and surprisingly good food on the concourse if you know where to go. Can't beat the pricing, either.I doubt that’s the case. Many have said the arena experience there is fine. It’s more likely the raucous crowd just gets the home team pumped up. They’re a bad team but they have enough pieces that they can pull upsets when the goaltending holds up.
If you want to talk about a joke of an arena I’ve heard Honda Center in Anaheim is a total garbage dump.

Provorov was my guy at 10. I was very very excited about him.Would be fun to go back and review that draft thread to see how many posters were upset that he didn't slide to us at 10. I seem to recall quite a few
I’m shocked, I feel like this has been a surprisingly reasonable discussion around the topic.Probably, but I'm giving a chance
Same here. Even the arena employees were belligerent douchebags. I get that's their shtick or whatever to make it feel unwelcoming to the away team and fans, but they're still paying customers. Never again.I like Honda Center too, mainly because the fans are really cool towards away team fans. I've had people try to fight me in LA and SJ for wearing my Avs gear.

I like the pants, but I'm not sold on the jersey.I dig the Arizona 3rds.
