It's done! We got the next Jagr! WoooJagr also had 3 goals in his first 9 NHL games...
The Good Book offers as much insight into Slaf as it does into the 18 year gap where Jesus from the ages of 12 to 30, is nowhere to be found.Do explain what the Good Book has to do with Slafkovsky?
I don't think Roy is close to NHL ready. Farrell will make it before him.Mesar might be ready for the NHL as a 19 year-old. a year on North American ice where he lights it up red behind the opposing G might well be the recipe to building his confidence up while he gets acclimated to the ice on this side of the ocean.
Really hope we select dvorsky at the 2023 draft and go big with the kids on a 3rd line a year later, after snatching up Dubois and re-signing Monahan as well for the 2nd line:
Caufield - Suzuki - Dach
Monahan - Dubois - Anderson (Dubois and Anderson have prior chemistry)
Slafkovsky - Dvorsky - Mesar
Heineman - Beck - Roy
When Roy is ready, he can play on the 2nd line with Monahan and Dubois and Farrell should be ready to play on the 4th line.
Caufield - Suzuki - Dach
Monahan - Dubois - Roy
Slafkovsky - Dvorsky - Mesar
Farrell - Beck - Heineman
That third line, provided it is allowed to play offensive hockey, could be deadly and the difference come playoff time.

That’s a great look. Should be someone’s avatar.View attachment 604108
"Why they think I'm Batman? 'S' is for Slafkovský, baby"
I think Guhle and Harris need to go to the AHL for now, let figure what we do with Wideman and, Kovacevic, and … there no way for those guy to build any value or momentum when they are rotating in and out of the lineup and continually changing line combo. It is going to be good for Guhle and Harris to get more ice time, it going to be good for these player we are trying to dump, give them there chance and we will be set, either they build some value or they don’t and we can just waive them… But right now if someone is going to play 14min I prefer it to be Wideman or KovacevI think he need to go to the AHL for now, let figure what we do with Dadonov, Hoffman and Drouin… there no way for those guy to build any value or momentum when they are rotating in and out of the lineup and continually changing line combo. Lmao . 3 washed dead weight plugs. The book is out on Drouin, the Habs were compensated to take Dadonov, and Hoffman is going nowhere with that contract, even if the Habs retained 50%. Zero chance any of them are moved this season. Send them all down if anything.I think he need to go to the AHL for now, let figure what we do with Dadonov, Hoffman and Drouin… there no way for those guy to build any value or momentum when they are rotating in and out of the lineup and continually changing line combo. Kova doesn't matter,. He's a waiver pickup. You don't change the way you manage your kids because you claimed a guy on waiver. He's nothing special like Kulak. We fall way too easily in love with guys like than in Montreal. This has been the main problem with this franchise for 30 years.I think Guhle and Harris need to go to the AHL for now, let figure what we do with Wideman and, Kovacevic, and … there no way for those guy to build any value or momentum when they are rotating in and out of the lineup and continually changing line combo. Guhle is doing fine in the NHL i don't see the point in sending him to the AHL. Harris is doing fine too. We can't send all our kids in the AHL for the next 2 years and then have 10 kids graduating in the NHL at the same time in 2024-2025. We have to bring them in wave.
I really don't get the love for Kova. imo he's a nothing burger dman. There's nothing to see there outside of an okayish 6th or 7th dman.
Kulak only became special for what he fetched when we traded him.Kova doesn't matter,. He's a waiver pickup. You don't change the way you manage your kids because you claimed a guy on waiver. He's nothing special like Kulak.
Lmao and some already want to try to make the playoffs after this extremely mediocre start. Relying on two players for that much of your offense just ain’t gonna fly, ever. We desperately need another high pick. Especially with a draft as deep as this coming one. Management should be doing everything they can to make sure that happens. With his 3rd goal tonight, Slafkovsky actually moves into 3rd place on our goal scoring list.
It's:
Caufield: 8 goals
Suzuki: 8 goals
Slafkovsky: 3 goals (9 games)
Anderson: 3 goals (12 games)
Dvorak: 3 goals (12 games - actually all in ONE game)
The top 3 have 19 of our 34 goals (56%).
Suzuki & Caufield score 47% of our goals.
I appreciate the sarcasm but I think you fail to realize that both Harris and Gulhe are avg. over 20min a game playing top 4 and are having a significant impact, they could play top 4 on a few NHL team not just the habs. Going to AHL would do nothing for them they would have the same role compare to Slaf who is the least used Player on the team (11:02 including 20sec of PP) even Pezz avg more time in is one game. Slaf has the ability he need ice time to develop those ability riding the bench in the NHL isn’t better than playing in the 1st line / 1PP in AHL when you are 18yo and developing… he doesn’t need to stay in the AHL for the reste of the season just until he gain some more expirence or we figured out how to dump a couple guys and can give him top 9minute+I think Guhle and Harris need to go to the AHL for now, let figure what we do with Wideman and, Kovacevic, and … there no way for those guy to build any value or momentum when they are rotating in and out of the lineup and continually changing line combo.
