Everyone was bugging him since camp started about it and Gallagher bullied him to add one row each time he failed to score a goal. He's never removed that tape now...
That's some serious bullying right there. I hope Slafkovsky is going to recover mentally after having been put through such an ordeal.

Regardless of whether or not it's a wrist or God forbid, a concussion, I think they needed to notice what many of us have, which is that he hasn't been protecting himself out there.

I think they needed to address that in some way, and I think the fact that they rushed him into the NHL with that clearly being an issue can be dangerous to the player.

I know a lot of you didn't want to send him to Junior because it would be a waste and possibly hinder his development (since he'd just use his size to dominate instead of developing his hockey sense), but it seems keeping him in the NHL until he can learn to absorb a hit and keep his head up might be dangerous.

Thoughts?

I'm willing to bet they are being extra cautious this year especially with young guys regarding injuries.

They prbly also wanted him to watch a few games so this is a good opportunity for that. Two birds 1 stone.
Also apparently Pitlick wasn’t too happy being in the press box, so is a way to get him on the ice as well.

Doesn't seem serious if it's his wrists

Okay... for an 18 yr old kid, those legs are pretty big.........

My thought is, send him to the OHL for 1 year, play in WJC.

He can go pro next year whether that is AHL or NHL or a mix.

Habs told the media they'd have an update on Slafkovsky's injury today. Anyone know when they're going to share this information?

He was practicing with the group today.

Before today he hadn't practiced with the group since the injury.

Edit: I trusted Grant Mckegg (rookie mistake) apparently he was wearing the red jerseys not the teal non contact ones.

Michel Therrien would bully players by swearing at them and blowing cigarette smoke in their faces, but at least he'd never cross the line and bully someone over tape like Gallagher did.
