Shit. You never want to see an OHLer get injured like that trying out the NHL.
Where is this coming from? lol
It would not surprise me I mean I like the energy and honesty but it is 4-0 that a bit over the top and that first star interview was a bit cringe saying how he laugh at the other guy, I feel like you can celebrate all you want but when you start openly $hitting on other player it is weird. It also indicate that there a little more maturity required.
I knew that hit to his head looked rough…damn.
He clearly didn't get hit in the head on that play, I have no idea what people saw there, he had the time to protect himself.According to Xhekaj, it's a wrist, but minor. He let it slip in interviews tonight.
That might be a even better explanation haha…I assumed he was hungover![]()
Those are legs! I was cursed with thin legs… My buddies in the military said I looked like I was riding a chicken in my UDTs. Lmao

Not allowd to say “Xhekaj kills people” on the live mic or and scream at opponents to f*** off” I guess and then bloat about it on the news.Code for: You can't celebrate like that in the NHL, we need to punish you but we cant make it obvious we are.
Slafkovsky plays a heavy game with some speed and skill. His absence last night against a big, fast Stars team was felt. As long as this kid progresses, it makes little sense to have him play against inferior competition under lesser coaching.Unpopular opinion? He’s progressing every game. I’d hold off until he stagnates or contractual decisions need to be made before assuming he’s getting sent down. I feel the better coaches and linemates may be around him already. His energy coupled with Xhekaj’s the other night was unprecedented since the last cup for me.
A lot of long range recce patrols on those legsThose are legs! I was cursed with thin legs… My buddies in the military said I looked like I was riding a chicken in my UDTs. Lmao
Lots of swimming.A lot of long range recce patrols on those legs![]()

Hi, yup, and seeing the guys stick up for each other and running people over is what hockey used to be aboutWas that Xhekaj flying in to hit Brown after the hit on Slaf? Someone did lmao
Salute brother!
It's 9 actual games played where the player is dressed and in the lineupHey anyone knowlegable - what counts as games played (wondering about the “max 9 games” before a first contractual year starts). Does a player have to be dressed? Do injuries count different?
