Placement isn't so important in the playoffs. Yeah you want home ice but rest is more important.

That's why I'm hoping to just call up all the Eagles and play them the rest of the way. Then keep the best players up for the playoffs.

Grubi played like 2 games in April. Dude is rested as f***. He probably had too much rest even.
Now it's time for him to get in Playoff shape. And for that he needs to play. So play him.

Ok 2 weeks isn't bad for Girard, if that's actually how long he's out. He should be back for the 1st round

The good thing about the injury situation is that Francouz is the only guy that we know is out for the entire season. Possibly Calvert too.

They’ve given timelines for Girard, Graves, and Saad. Byram, LOC, and MacDonald are week-to-week, so there’s a good possibility that they could come back at some point. Even EJ hasn’t been ruled out for a playoff return at some point.

It’s huge that if other injuries happen they may have replacements coming back at some point.

Byram had some setback and is out on weekly basis.
