Uniondale would be a good spot if the aisles don’t claim it first and move from Bridgeport. I can’t see the Rangers minor league team in the Islanders building, and we saw what the results were in Brooklyn.

I'm kind of hoping this project doesn't get shelved and actually happens: Second Extension Granted for Ronkonkoma Vision Project Developers - Arena Digest

An AHL arena in Ronkonkoma which is a 1.5 hour train ride into Penn would be an ideal situation for the WolfPack.

I really don't mind the idea of taking a big guy who can take 5-6 years to develop, specifically where the team is in terms of their glut of players pushing for spots.

In saying that, we look at a guy like Justin Richards who played well in his short stint with the NHL club but also played pretty well in the AHL. He is the same age as Tim Gettinger who has done nothing but improve down in the AHL and at 23, could fill a spot on a 4th line somewhere. He's also a pretty adept PKer.

I agree for sure, but it certainly seem like we value guys like 6’6-8 a lot more than someone 6’3-4. Would we have drafted Rempe or Edström if they were 6’3-4? I would much rather see them target really strong/fit players more normal size than these giants (Rempe maybe can fight and then I like him).

I'm hoping for someone like a Brandon Prust from Cuylle. Not that he needs to fight as much as Prust, but a player who could be a nice 3rd/4th line bruising winger.

I initially liked the Khodorenko signing more, but I think from day 1, the projection was that Richards had a defensive game much more readily suited to the NHL.

If I remember right, a lot of the reports at the time thought he would be able to step onto a 4th line very, very soon, and that seems to pretty much all ring true.

So many prospects over the Nash years were ecstatic that Rick Nash took the time of the day to greet them and introduce himself like he's their neighbor. If I recall who was it that we were joking about being in Montreal now but said in a podcast that Eichel didn't do what Crosby would do to welcome every guy into the room? Glad to see Kreids step up.

Pretty damn embarrassing how these reporters keep asking the prospects, players and coaches about Tom Wilson every chance they get.

At 19 Cuylle is 6’3 215 lbs. He’s got very good hands and a very good shot. He’s not just a physical player. There are skills there.
Have you watched Cuylle? He plays very physical and is one of the best fighters in the CHL. I’m not super high on Cuylle like some are but he plays a lot like Nick Ritchie

he didn't say that he isn't physical. he said he's not JUST physical. meaning there is more to his game.
