Period ends and this one was the best one they played since game 1. Have scored more but have not played better.
the only way they win this one is to play the next 2 periods with the same intensity. Running out of gas cannot be an excuse.
They are not letting the Amerks run around like the last 2 games. When an Amerk gets the puck there is someone there right away or close to it. That's the only way to keep them from running their offense.

Quinn hits Daws in the mask knocking the straps.

This ref pair is highly reflexive to the crowd responses. They need to actually grow a pair of their own and call the game.
The PP goes back to work and the Comets are forced to battle it again.
Greer picks it, kills some time and clears it.
Bahl gets it out.

Comets won the draw and then OK gave it away and the Amerks got 2 good chances. Inexcuseable.
