Puck in the Comets end and it looks like desperation effort for the Amerks and the Comets manage to just disrupt every effort as it is attempted.
Period ends with the puck cleared into the neutral zone.

I almost feel like I have to turn this off and come back later.
I know the zebras, these 2 in particular are going to game manage to the 'nth degree through the 3rd period.
I am also clearly aware of the number of times the Comets have taken big leads deep into the game and lost.
The recipe for them to come out of this one is to keep the pedal down for 20 minutes. The Amerks remember well that they were one of the teams that managed one of those very comebacks.
I shouldn't have to consider a 4-0 lead a nail biter, but I do. I just don't trust these nutless refs to ignore the 10,000 every time they scream, degrade, and boo non-calls. They don't call games before this size of a crowd very often and they make reflex calls to the crowd reactions to on ice play.
Watch this new post go back to the long previous one. I rest my case.

OK has been weak on several occasions tonight. He just screwed one up again and Daws finally sits on it. Then OK fights Fitzgerald. Gone for 5 each. Not a real good move by OK and he got 2 before the fight statrted so it''s an Amerk PP less than 2 minutes into the 3rd. Didn't take the refs long to get get started.
