I remember a lot of us being pretty impressed with Okhotyuk and Vukojevic in the prospect tournament before preseason. It’d be great to see both of them carve out NHL careers. One of the best games by the Comets in a long time with quite a few guys missing. Daws was great in net. One thing I noticed lately is how well Vukojevic keeps progressing. Early in the season he was in between Adirondack and Utica, and he has turned into a really dependable guy for the Comets. Also: it's a shame Walsh doesn't seem to get a look in New Jersey this season. He really deserves it imho.
Holtz can play two more NHL games this season before a year is burned.Holtz won’t get called up, it would burn a year towards UFA, no?
They awarded the Mathers Trophy to Laval last season and the through the Covid seasons. They just dropped it?
Shaya said there will be a Division title banner. I get it's like Nashville's banner for regular season Conference winner, but this will be the first season it won't be awarded? Is this a one year pause due to the different amount of games played and it will return next season when all teams will play 72?
the Frank Mathers Trophy is now awarded to the team that finishes with the best regular-season record in the Eastern Conference.

How many non emergency call-ups can they still make? I thought Foote was the last or is he an emergency call-up?Holtz can play two more NHL games this season before a year is burned.
NHL teams get four non-emergency recalls after the NHL trade deadline passes. How many non emergency call-ups can they still make? I thought Foote was the last or is he an emergency call-up?
Can a guy on an emergency call-up be replaced by another Comet and have it still count as an emergency call-up while the first player goes back down?
So let me ask again. How many of the non-emergency call-ups have they made?NHL teams get four non-emergency recalls after the NHL trade deadline passes.
According to CapFriendly, Foote is on an emergency recall.
There is no limit on emergency recalls as long as the NHL roster does not have 12 F 6 D 2 G healthy.
Bratt's non-Covid illness brought NJ down to 11 healthy F.
Since the trade deadline the Devils have recalled Daws, Greer, Bahl, Greer, Bahl, Zetterlund, Greer, Bahl, Greer, Okhotiuk, Foote. So let me ask again. How many of the non-emergency call-ups have they made?
I swore somebody already said they were all gone.
Which means if those clamoring to see Walsh and Holtz again would have to mean they are replacing emergency roster players and those players would therefore have to be returned. Holtz for Z and Walsh for Bahl or OK. Bratt will be back real soon as he has a minor illness and that's why Foote is up there.
I don't really care if the Comets don't have the gas to win the last 2 games even though it would be nice to have their best against Providence to get an idea where they stand. Losses wouldn't have an effect on anything except the team attitude and confidence level of going into the playoffs having played 1 good game in the last 10.
Charlotte is the team I think everybody in the North needs to worry about anyways.
Thank you for facts. Too many "I thinks" or "definitely" from those who really aren't sure.Since the trade deadline the Devils have recalled Daws, Greer, Bahl, Greer, Bahl, Zetterlund, Greer, Bahl, Greer, Okhotiuk, Foote.
Daws is a non-emergency recall.
Greer is an emergency loan.
Bahl is an emergency loan.
Zetterlund is an emergency loan.
Okhotiuk is an emergency loan.
Foote is an emergency loan.
The Devils have three non-emergency recalls remaining.
Some just don't know where to look for themselves.Thank you for facts. Too many "I thinks" or "definitely" from those who really aren't sure.
Since the Comets afffiliation with NJ began I have added you to @Utica Hockey as my in house encyclopedias. I have so many other things to do that hunting for things I know I can just ask someone else for is easier. I know how to find most things, but when I don't, I turn to those I know probably already have the answer. Hope it doesn't bother you. If It does, just say the word. Some just don't know where to look for themselves.

Are we getting snarky now? I'm just having a conversation and apparently you don't want me to ask so I now know not to ask in the future so I won't.I'm not bothered that you can't be bothered.
I haven't seen any reports of why Thompson didn't play on Friday.what happened to Thompson? not sure on his injury. Thanks in advance
