The Kings have reached the 2nd rd 12 times in franchise history. 12 out of 54 seasons. 22% of the time. Once with the 5th worst record in the league, and another time with the 3rd worst. Taking out the golden age, they've reached the 2nd rd once since 1993.
 
The Kings have played well and I'm happy for them. They did better than I thought, regardless of the outcome.

That said, watching the Oilers lose would be almost as fun as watching the Kings win. This series has really shown how unlikable the team is.

McDavid constantly using his arm to hold the checker's stick.
Draisaitl's dives.
Smith just being a turd from forever ago, but his flops most of all.
Kassian's constant crosschecks into the small of everyone's backs
Nurse with the post-play BS.
Kane, who's also a turd in general.

I like RNH and probably Hyman. Perlini is cool too when he's on the roster. Blah about the rest.

McDavid for the most part has fought hard this series but yeah that annoys me...both him but especially Drai and Kane throw out their arms and lean like they're going to protect the puck but it's an empty gesture in most cases, they just go down easily right after doing so with no real intention of battling. I can't believe the refs keep falling for that, 6'4 230 pound dudes acting like they're getting arm barred by blake lizotte

I really like Hyman and I think Mcdavids bullshit is really irritating as well

Just posted this in another thread, but it's relevant here as well:

Is she going to spoil the upcoming Kings vs. Oilers game, too? Why is NHL.tv not showing the regional Bally Sports feed? :mad::mad::mad: It's bad enough that they cancel regional announcers after Round 1– they must shove those national announcers down our throats in Round 1, too!

Will be switching to the Canadian Sportsnet feed, despite being a Kings fan.

(I don't get it... We got the regional Bally Sports feed on NHL.tv here in Europe for games 1 to 3, then 5, but not for games 4 and 6.) :madfire::madfire::madfire:

I feel your pain, we only get the TNT feed here through ESPN in Australia. NHL.TV has the away feeds but its impossible to find a Ballys feed for LA home games.

There's no logic behind it. Europe did get the Bally Sports feed for Game 3, then shockingly, there was none for Game 4 (I watched via Sportsnet), and the same tonight.

It may have something to do with the former Fox Sports West not simply being renamed, but splitting into Bally Sports SoCal & Bally Sports West, as far as I know. :rolleyes: It looks like if the game is on Bally Sports SoCal, NHL.tv carries the feed. But if the game is on Bally Sports West (like today and in Game 4), then we get the national broadcast instead. Damn! :mad:

9 minutes past official starting time, and still zero coverage on both TBS & Sportsnet. :madfire: (Leafs game likely going into overtime, so they will happily ignore the Oilers and the Kings.)
