Thinking giving Kovalchuck powerplay time would have made a difference is the kind of thinking that lead us here in the first place. That's like not giving Kovalchuk PP time for not being able to score on a line with Amadio and Lewis.

The season isn’t over. There’s 79 games left…Ha, i was thinking earlier today that if the Kings lost, this board would blow up and a bunch of bipolar fans around here would be on suicide watch claiming the season is over after game 3. You guys are kinda pathetic...

If you're not asking for the players and coaches heads after 3 games, are you even really a fan?Ha, i was thinking earlier today that if the Kings lost, this board would blow up and a bunch of bipolar fans around here would be on suicide watch claiming the season is over after game 3. Through three games, Anze Kopitar has 5 goals, and everyone else on the roster has combined for 4 goals (Brown, Arvidsson, Doughty, Danault).
The team is chock full of depth forwards who can’t score, and offense from the blueline is inexistent.
No no no, absolutely nothing in common there.
Frolov was a terrific forechecker and the single best board player the team had since Taylor, even to this day. He was an elite defensive winger. He was an extremely hard worker in all of the difficult areas and routinely put up good numbers in the dead puck era. He put up 50+ points in every season here.
How dare you compare Adrian stinkin' Kempe to that?
Holy overreacting Batman! Kings have the same amount of points as Knights, Islanders, Avalanche and Jets. Can we at least wait until game 10 with the fire everybody and trade everybody crap?
Since a nice a nice minority wanted Kopitar, Doughty and Brown gone while running Vilardi and the Russian as line 1 after the preseason.
I wish we could be good like the 3 and 0 Sabers, now that’s a franchise that knows how to build a winning team.

There's a reason he had the nickname "Froloaf" around here and the other board , and it's not because he loved baking bread.
haha, the true makings of a real fanIf you're not asking for the players and coaches heads after 3 games, are you even really a fan?
Laine and Tarasenko have combined for 1 goal in 5 games this year.
I think the idea is we hope for some younger players to blossom. If they do blossom, then team might be good, if they don't then the team will continue to be bad.

Frolov would put up 7 points in 3 games then you wouldn't notice him for 3 weeks. Kempe's the same way, but without the scoring part. He's the only guy I can remember Bob Miller calling out in a game, that how frustrating Frolov could be. Kempe has reached that level for a lot of us, the pre-season, and tonight again, he was pretty much invisible. And you know who I see following this path, Kupari. I noticed him once trying to score, the rest were terrible plays and getting smoked twice on the dots. He got burned so bad Josi, it looked like he'd never played a pro game.
