I was hoping that Lizotte would blossom in to a super solid third line center and I could secretly build a fan club with a dance routine with a troup of female midgets called "LizTottes" who did a touchdown like dance every time he scored. We would be the envy of the league.

So, I was going to make a comment about this years Kings empty calorie shot totals being reminiscent of the last Sutter season, but I guess my memory was completely wrong. The last Sutter year had the Kings 4th in HDCF% and 8th in SCF%, while being 1st in SF%. Meanwhile this years team is 18th in HDCF% and 16th in SCF%, while being 6th in SF%. For some reason my memory of the post cup Sutter years was meaningless shot padding, but this season is the actual definition of that.
