I don't blame Frolov for not knowing that PP question, I've seen every single Kings game for decades and I would have missed that. Purcell has 8 goals for the Kings all-time.

Stoll is a lot more nostalgic about that era than anyone else

Yes I mentioned it in one of the GDT's a few games ago. I was listening to Kingstalk after one of the home games and a caller called in and asked if he ever wanted to take over for Bob Miller after he retires, and Nick said he did tell the Kings he was interested in the job but they decided to go another route. I was pretty shocked after how long he has been with the organization for them to turn him down. But it is what it is I guess.

Frolov was the Kings best player arguably for a decent amount of time with no real help

That honestly makes me so sad, Nickson was always close to Bob for me as the voice of Kings hockey. When I was a kid I probably listened to as many Kings games as I watched, so having him as a transition post Bob would have been so great. It's such a shame how fast this organization has fallen...

Yup same here I listened to a lot of Nick Nickson as a youngster and to hear him tell the caller the Kings wanted someone else made me sick.
