Again, it seems like you're saying that we got Danault to help out Kopitar. As if we predicted that this is the season where Kopitar will decline and thus we split the tasks up and this new Kopi-Danault merger is equivalent to Kopitar prime.

If this is the case, that means Blake's goal for this season, at least, is to not make the playoffs. His transaction was to maintain pace, not to improve.

the danault signing hinges on what they do with turcotte/vilardi/byfield. moving them to wing would be a waste, if they are moved for a top pairing dman im ok with the signing.

Vilardi already plays a winger's game imo. Byfield is a C no matter what. Turcotte...book is out. I don't think Danault changes any of that except maybe solidifying Vilardi to W.

And they drafted Brandt Clarke, losing only MacDermid and the picks used to acquire Arvidsson, with no cap concerns as well.

This has been an incredibly fruitful couple of weeks. Get on board now, the next step forward is coming quickly.

i would be shocked at the overall low productivity that the NHL generates and would seriously need to re-evaluate their rules

If 30 goals in 205 GP is seriously ranked top 20 scorer over 3 years then it's time to watch some soccer

You make it sound like it's you versus the rest of the board.

All of us have gotten into it with eachother. And all of us have agreed with eachother at some point. Sometimes it's more spirited.

The more passionate you are with an argument, the bigger pushback you're going to get. Especially if that person is equally passionate about their counterpoint.

Suggesting the issue is because there's a clique instead of considering how you approach a discussion will just lead to more pushback where it may get more personal.
