I won’t get upset at all. I was merely pointing out, to get a needle moving, HEALTHY player, it’s going to cost. That’s all. And if Blake can’t swing that because he can’t find a team willing to do it, then so be it. What I don’t want him to do is bring in someone, just to say I brought in someone.

Forsberg gets my vote. He’ll cost more than Arvidsson, but you’d love to see some bodies move out for him.I’d throw Fagemo and Lizotte at Nashville and see what sticks.

Yes to Domi, Nino, Palat and Forsberg. On D? I guess wouldn’t mind throwing a 2 year contract at one of them but nothing more.

Eh, yeah. They're not supposed to be gamebreakers, though, else the cost would be considerably more.
My gut, someone like Grans or Spence will be the cost. Clarke makes RD very deep. Him and Faber are solid in the depth chart, so they'd be dealing from a position of strength.
Another possibility, imo, would be Madden. Injuries have his spot in the depth chart up in the air. Pinelli can play LW and Fagemo, despite lower upside, can find himself challenging for a middle-six role. Not to mention Turcotte as a natural lefty may move to the LW with Vilardi, Byfield, and Helenius up the middle.
That's just me calling my shot. Grans or Madden + middling pick for a forward.
Kings add to the roster without losing a roster player and without paying an absurd price (whether it's prospect capital or money/term in free agency).

I’m going off the mayor’s theory that the cost is small. Secondary prospect or picks and no roster players. He did have Forsberg not coming cheap. So maybe Fagemo, Kupari and a 2nd?
Too bad it’s the wrong decade to be excited about that combo.

Free agency always goes the same way around here.
1. Get over hyped on every player ever
2. Propose low ball offers
3. Get disappointed when Kings sign no fools gold
4. Mock all those deals and dumb GM’s and their terrible deals shortly thereafter

I wonder how likely a Tarasenko trade will be, as he's another name who may not cost much given he wants out of St. Louis, his questionable health, and his cap hit. But again, this is a reclamation project the Kings would have to take on with a player like him, should they strike out on someone like Brandon Saad. Looking at the free agent list, it's slim pickings.
