I'm a neutral ... i don't see how in the hell a passive 1-3-1 in the NZ is supposed to get you back in a game two goals down... now three. Mind blowing
Terrible coaching does this. It’s amazing.
I thought stevens was bad.
I thought Willie D was bad and he was terrible.
Then I thought it was impossible to get worse than him, and here’s Todd a smidge better than Willie. But it’s like saying you’re only one step above rock bottom and there’s a billion steps above it. That’s how bad Todd is.

Him and Iafallo are playing horrible hockey period. Let alone top line and pp duties. They stayed out nearly two minutes on the last powerplay. Iafallo touched the puck like twice. Once he lost it and the Wild cleared the zone and the other he had a weak attempt to stuff it in.
Seems like Kopitar would enjoy golfing more than laying it all on the line in a playoff series. Sick of watching these two getting the royal treatment they do by the coaching staff. Just sickening how they dont seem to care tonight.
The Iafallo thing is the most bizarre coaching decision from any team I’ve ever followed. I can’t even begin to think what is going through TMacs mind as he keeps trotting him out there. Iafallo is without question the worst forward on the team right now.

TMac is Bettman and Iafallo is the Coyotes

How many coaches does Blake get to hire?

Here are the only coaches in Kings' history with a winning percentage of over .500 with a minimum of 100 games coached:

Bob Pulford
Bob Berry
Robbie Ftorek
Tom Webster
Andy Murray
Terry Murray
Darryl Sutter

Two of the seven were hired by Dean Lombardi.

John Stevens coached 99 games for the Kings. Close, but no cigar.
Hypothetically I'd say this is his 1st hire if you're counting Stevens/Willie D. The former was Luc and the organization wanting some continuation of what existed since they got promoted together, and the latter was a tank interim

Is this analogy going to be on the next SAT?

Just following on ESPN, how have the Kings been on the power play the entire period? Or is the thing broken?

I’m rarely reactionary but the Kopitar line is really disappointing. Iaffalo has been terrible and Kopitar not much better. 5/5 they seem to be Minnesotas preferred matchup.

I’m really impressed with Vilardi and Byfield is very close to putting it together. That line needs to stick.

Durzi really is a weak link with the errors having nothing to do with usage.

Cal is not the problem.
Durzi/Stetcher really are a weak links on defense

kings came out of the gate strong, but since about the 10 minute mark of the first period the wheels have fallen off

this team is going to have a really hard time making the playoffs

I seriously have a hard time believing that the Kings fell apart after two missed calls after being up 3-0. I don’t want to hear it.

Iafollo should be playing on the 3rd line, not the 1st line. I'm puzzled, why didn't TMac pull Petersen yet for Quick. The team has not responded well after jumping out to a 3-0 lead in the 1st. You got to shake something up in the game even if its not entirely on Petersen.

this is a pretty tough watch

not much fight in a team rapidly losing their playoff spot

Blake’s gonna be the complete opposite of Lombardi isn’t he? An unwillingness to trade prospects where as Lombardi did it too easily…
