Sweden wins it in OT.

Thoughts on the junior Kings:

Fagemo, talk about a shot mentality. I'd be very surprised if he didn't have the most shots in the game by a fair margin. Again, hard working north-south guy. Not sure his speed or shot is elite enough to be a dependable scoring forward but might fill a role as an energy guy who can create space for more skilled linemates.
Don’t forget Fagemo is one of the few junior players who has a slapper too. His shot arsenal is not something that will hold him back as scoring forward. Than i can think of other stuff.

I think he will turn into a very good 3rd liner.

I agree, he's just go go go north-south with some skill but a total puckhound. Could see a line with him and Lizotte absolutely terrorizing people on the forecheck.

On another note, USA vs. CAN highlighted criticisms against Caufield and Kaliyev:

Caufield really struggles when he's not shooting. He had grinders instead of playmakers, and he was largely ineffective.

Kaliyev is an elite talent with the puck, but needs to improve his play without the puck.

Is that your opinion or was that written or commented on ? Just wondering because we saw so little of him or the zegras line to see , it seemed like the coaching staff was going with a little older guys and didn’t make too many adjustments when they were behind , must be hard to decide on with the pressure to get out to a good start, but the game was winnable right down to the end so we weren’t outclassed by any means

Just my opinion.

Looks like Kaliyev picked up an assist. It's amazing how much better the 3rd/4th lines look for the US. The top lines are getting trapped in their own zone, while the bottom 6 have been dynamic.

bottom 7! lol. 13th forward Kaliyev has 2 points in about 13 minutes of play this tourney.

Zegras has been awesome too
