I said it in June that that trade to move up for Fagemo was a smart one. His stock is rising, hopefully he can continue his strong play from this WJC.
Hopefully Fagemo stays with HC Frolunda another season or two until he's man strong rather than wasting his time in the AHL with Ontario like Kupari and Sodergran

I can honestly see Amadio being shopped or let go. Carter could draw interest but I’m not expecting him to go. Lizotte is fine in the wing to me.
Why would Amadio be shopped? I like him and think he's better than Lewis,Brown and some of the other slugs we have ganging around...besides Amadio can play RWing as well as Centre

I like him but I don’t think the bulk of his career is in LA.

Vilardi is starting his NHL career as a RW
Turcotte won’t be ready for another season
JAD has yet to show anything other than hustle
Stutzle is also likely to move to the wing

And Amadio will be traded at some point.

Speculation just like mine brother.

Please not Stutzle...Kings need a Drysdale and not Don...we need Jamie...hope the Kings get him and he becomes as famous as Don!

Amadio has 16 goals and 36 points in 127 games.

Nick Shore has 18 goals and 58 points in 275 games.

Amadio is more talented and responsible defensively. The biggest thing they have in common is the unrealistic expectations.
Amadio is much worse defensively. The guy is soft as Charmin. Yes, he's better on offense, but he's physically weak and really slow. He won't last. No one is more disappointed than me about this. I thought we had a possible gem when I saw him at his first training camp. That physical plant though, reminded of the poor guys that joined the army in WWII just to get 3 squares a day.

Through his first 155 games, Trevor Lewis had 7 goals and 23 points.

Through his first 276 games, he had 18 goals and 48 points.

So technically, both Amadio and Shore are better than former first rounder Trevor Lewis.

Amadio is 10 times better than N Shore. But they both have one thing in common maybe the Kings should have left them in Ontario for a bit longer to develop

Nick Shore didn't make the Kings full time until he was 23. There is only so much development that can be done in the AHL, hell if he had gone another season in the A he likely would have been lost as a Group 6 anyways.

You never who will be the right guy for the right role at the right time. And, you never know what team will be interested in trading for a particular player.

Don't agree at all with your assessment. Shore was too skinny and emotionally not ready for the rigors of the NHL.Besides that he had limited skills. He would have better off going the 4 years of College and then doing 2-3 years in the minors. Will probably end up in the KHL where he will eek out a living with a team in Kazahkstan or China

The thing with Shore is he was all vision/brain and next to no nhl-level physical skills. Basically plays to the level of the competition to not be a liability or a benefit, 'just a guy,' and he knows it, which is why he's so defensive. Agree he'll find a good long Euro career as a journeyman.

How many successful NHL players do you know that didn't make the league until they were 26? Obviously excepting former KHL players.
