Why do fans seem so overwhelmed. For years fans have been praying for a top flight talent and now we got one. However most of the night fans were angry we didnt get a mid or late first. I mean we had 20 but we got Trouba who most rangers fans have wanted the past 4 years. I know our fanbase is never satisfied but I thought Kakko and Trouba would make this a stress free night lol

I’m not mad at all. Give me Kaliyev. That’s all I ask for now.

You have to wonder, at what point is it worth giving up a minor asset to grab one of these guys in the second. We have the room for risk/reward.

Based on my minimal knowledge, I'd prefer Kaliyev but if we came away with either in the second, this draft would be a tremendous win for us... not that it already isn't.

We have a lot of great prospects. I think Colorado is in a great position with what the they have now and in the pipeline. Do I like our pipeline better? Sure. But it is still a lot of potential. Both teams are in great spots.
