Wouldn’t Kreids be going the other way? Or would Toronto be interested in Buch+. Man Kreider and Willy on the same team is some freak of nature type stuff.

I don’t think Kreider goes to Toronto, or that they’ve expressed any interest in him.

Now Buch on the other hand, could potentially be of interest there.

Yeah, we all want the instant gratification of trades NOW, but with the artificial pressure of the draft now past, GMs may want to wait to see how things shake out with their RFAs and bigger UFA targets before they pull the trigger.

I brought this up a couple of weeks ago, but you have to wonder how easy it would be to trade Kreider with so many UFA wingers out there.

Panarin, Zuccarello, Lee, Dzingel, Williams, Donskoi, Nyquist, Connolly, Ferland...

Until those guys find homes and there are teams left without having gotten one, Kreider’s value can’t be quite as high as we expect it is. Between that and the cap not coming out yet, I’d imagine a lot of interested teams would be cautious about trading for a player.
