Zuc option is done. They had their window to resign him and they didn't. There's no upside to waiting for a player to play the field. That's why the Flyers trades for Hayes rights, and throw in the cost of a 1R pick in a very deep draft? No chance. Done.

I agree the tone in here is a little odd to be honest. Think about a few of these things I recall and maybe it will put some in a better mood:

I recall us drafting Kappo ****ing Kakko and he's going to be is on his way to MSG for the next 15 plus years.
I recall as well we just got Trouba for the 20th pick for the most part
I recall also we got Fox for the 37th pick
I recall getting a bit giddy and the warm and fuzzies appear
I recall I just pinched myself to sure this good fortune is not a mirage
I recall that it's just June 21st and that Gorton has done a heck of a job and he and JD aren't finished.
