The question with Tomasino for me is the hands and ability for the head to keep up with the feet at the higher levels.

Which is where I think the talk of Kreider needs to return a certain draft slot for it to be a good trade was off. It should have always been about the prospect they could take with that slot, not the slot #.

I have three people on the ground there with us.

Another two with different teams.

Four of the five are stunned by the lack of movement...anywhere. The other is busy with newly minted draftees and hasn’t responded.

You can almost tell the teams that had trade talks going and then they just reached when their pick came.

Disappointed that the Rangers were not able to get something done with Colorado or lower, but it takes two parties to agree to a trade.

Overall, I'm a bit shocked at the general lack of movement on the whole.

Kreider needs to have good season. Maybe with Kakko on the right wing and who knows. Watching a kid like Kakko pursue the puck like a mad man might work wonders for CK, Zibs and the whole team.

EVERYONE I talk to is shocked.

There are tons of deals apparently in close range that either died or are on pause.
