Kreid or Die
I would absolutely be interested. Maybe we could send them Shattenkirk retained.
Only thing is we would be blocking Fox long term unless we moved ADA in the next year or so
absolutely no problem with keeping CK. hes one of the few guys we have whos willing to throw the mitts down. that will be needed to protect our kids.
Thing is id rather have moved Vesey and Namestnikov for 2nd/3rd round picks or reclamation projects, such Puljujarvi or A.Nylander, and then signed Brassard and/or Boyle to fill out the roster. We could flip them too if the team is out of playoff contention by the deadlineI wonder whether getting good returns for rentals has influenced JG's hesitancy to deal guys right away. We won't be blocking too much youth development by keeping Strome, Namestnikov, and Vesey in bottom 6 roles, and they could potentially get more at the deadline what with the salary cap situation than they would return right now.
He is terrible and can barely play defense, we have plenty of better young dmen.I would absolutely be interested. Maybe we could send them Shattenkirk retained.

Perhaps you missed the 2nd half of my post?
I’m at about 95% happy. Only my frustration is with the dysfunction that Edmonton preventing the Rangers from trading up for Zegras has tamped down my enthusiasm. Imagine adding Zegras to what transpired today.

Yeah, no value for Kreider and Buch once the first round was over. Deal them for massive hauls in season.
We shouldn’t.....Why are we trading Buch?
The miller trade is really unbelievable. The canucks first rounder going to Tampa is probably better than any asset we got in the original miller/mcdonagh deal and miller hasn’t done anything in that time to increase his value. I’d anything he’s worth less given his contract and lack of improvement
It is. When was Brassard traded? You literally said “it is very likely”
Fair enough. I just love Risto’s size but i know right now his stock and perception is lowADA would probably have to be going back the other way.
I dunno, I think I'll just stick with ADA.
Why are we trading Buch?
I too would stick with the better player.ADA would probably have to be going back the other way.

Well I mean at the time would Miller have returned that alone? Was Benning interested then? Because he is terrible, terrible GM. That was highway robbery for TB however it was probably Benning who pitched the idea to them. All they had to do was say yes.Miller’s inclusion always made that trade poor value to me and today’s deal basically cements that.
I think we were only willing to do so to get into the top-10. I don’t think we’d move him now unless we can get Willy Ny.We shouldn’t trade Buchy. Absurd idea when he’s finally putting it together
