Wow, there was absolutely no penalty there.

Very bad call on the first Canadian goal, but otherwise the refs have been favouring the Finns. Mostly it’s just terrible reffing all around.

Dislike the poor reffing overshadowing the game, but Canada has been outplaying Finland so far, and deserves the lead IMO.

Are you going to be like this all game? Yup...Russian refs love Canada.
WHY do people keep talking about the refs being Russian? The video judge is Canadian, he's the guy that counted the goal... how are so many people not capable of grasping that?

According to the IIHF live ticker the Finns shoot much more on the Canadian goal than the Canadians on Finns goal. Are the Finns to harmless or is the Canadian gaolie too good or can the Finns not exploit the chances?
Finland has had 3 powerplays which might explain something. Despite that Finland hasn't had many super dangerous chances, while Canada's goals have come out of the blue.

Dude covers his man and pokes a puck that would have been a pass in the paint to his man. None of the forwards tracked back and covered Mete but Heiskanen gets the blame. Im with you here what was he supposed to do?

You can't poke the puck to that spot. It was a horrible play

Btw the way canada plays, uncanny resemblance to how Switzerland plays in adults' WHC

This isn't Canada being dominant, this is the Finns being disoriented and exposed to the small ice skating speed. There's no real storyline to be made from this match, other than this Finnish team can just go upwards from the hole they are in.
