Eemeli has played 1,5 agains't those Canadian OHLers and he knows them better than everyone else except Jokiharju and Välimäki. I really thought that Ahokas is better coach than Rautakorpi but now it doesn't look that.

Ahokas has a gold in his resume. Rautakorpi doesn't. Ahokas > Rautakorpi.
Eh, it's the 1st game. Lots left. But we don't have the kind of talent that we had with Laine and Pulju and Aho.

I don't know what you are watching. Scoring 3 on 4 shots is outscoring, not outclassing. Goalie is outclassing his opponent though I give you that. Finland has had most of puck possession and shots

We're pretty even skillwise so far I think. Finland's forwards have had the more creative solo performances but more gaffes to even it out. Canada earning the lead so far with better composure.

The poor reffing has definitely been hitting both sides so while the first goal was certainly a moronic decision, I do think it was just that. Not a North American conspiracy by the.. Russians? So chill out my fellow Finns.

Yeah, I think your assessment here is quite accurate, I think both teams are pretty even and we are in for better hockey in the 2nd and 3rd.

This game may turn out very entertaining coming up.

I think the game really hasn't been as lopsided as the scoreboard suggests at 5 on 5. Finland has been so far keeping up with Canada. Canada being opportunistic with their chances.

The Finland #2 PP unit. The 1st unit while not generating a lot of dangerous chances are atleast getting zonetime.

Now they're just giving him the puck and expecting him to do it all himself. He's a scorer, not a playmaker, he needs people to give him opportunities to score.

Well, I started to watch when was 2 to 1 Canada. The fins were cycling at will for much of the period, unfortunately for them their defenseman are braindead.
I was not impressed.

Canada has more discipline and strength in 1-1 battles so far. It is also far more better in using its scoring chances.

It is no use in speculating the 1-0 goal when Finland is playing so bad overall. Heiskanen has been sleeping throughout the whole first period.
