Honestly Canada's defense has been more shaky than Finland's. Our forwards just haven't been able to take advantage of it. If I had to pick someone that has looked visibly bad, it would be Ikonen. Guy has lost just about every puck that has come his way so far.

Dude covers his man and pokes a puck that would have been a pass in the paint to his man. None of the forwards tracked back and covered Mete but Heiskanen gets the blame. Im with you here what was he supposed to do?

Lots of talent but none of them are playing defence. Salo looks a tier below the quality you usually see from top teams.

While he would get eaten alive if he gets caught out of position by speed, his reach and physical defensive style would help. That's why I was kinda not surprised but surprised he didn't make it (looks that way). He brings a unique skill set that other more talented D don't bring.
