Love the speed and grit in Fjällby-Jonssons game. His energy was the major factor igniting Sweden in the mid second period.

Murray at 16/17 was a very very good player. Specially at the WJC.

Yea, I don't see much competition either. I'm very high on Zadina and Hughes but I see them both at best going 2-4.

Murray was always projected as a #1 in the Scott Niedermeyer mold. He hasn't panned out because of injuries as you noted. Dahlin look like a solid all around guy. I haven't witnessed the dominance yet. I'm willing to be patient though.

I've watched him enough to formulate an opinion. This game isn't the reason why I made the statement. Another player that I see him being in the mold of is OEL. When I hear him being compared to Karlsson, it kind of makes me scratch my head. I know he's better at this age than any of those guys were but honestly , raw tools wise I don't think he has anything that pops out. He's a solid all around guy. Jack of all trades type. Which bodes very well for him because he's a dreamy pick at #1. Every team would love a guy that projects as a top pairing guy who can play at both ends of the ice. If his offense doesn't translate in the NHL, he still brings a lot of other quality tools to the table.
Hahahaha! What the f*** are you talking about?? Stop embarrassing yourself.

Me agreeing with him being a #1 pick is embarrassing myself? Okay. Maybe you're too young to have seen Murray when he was in juniors.

Pettersson's puck distribution has been on point this whole game. Makes me wonder why they didn't decide to try him in the middle to drive the play more often.

Liljegren is absolutely horrible.

Big difference between juniors and the third best league in the world.

He is a #1 Dman and arguably one of the best ~5 Dmen in the SHL at 17.

Ryan Murray was not one of the best ~5 Dmen in the WHL at the same age.

Brännström is very good holding onto the puck and create space for the forwards doing so. Creating time for the rest of the line to reposition them self.

I see that some select fans have not failed to take a jab at Timmy, even when it's not earned. It's kinda pathetic how many people want to see a 19 year old fail. Really makes you wonder what type of people are on this site. Gross.

18yr old.
