Hard to say about Boqvist. Hes certiainly skilled, fast and smart enough to hang with the boys, but hed be best getting at least one season. Hes the Petersson of the draft for me. Petersson could use another year in europe again next year, but he likely will get rookie treatment in Vancity.

trash software confirmed.

No chance Nils makes it to the 2nd IMO.

Sandin is going to be there but I feel theres maybe 4 or 5 forwarss ill probably want over him and the aformentioned Ds.
Only Tychonick makes it to our 2nd. I would be surprised with the rest.

Jenik doesn't have the same flash Lauko has but his versatility and two-way game might make him the more effective player in the long run, specially when you consider he was just one day from being in his D-1 year. He was a standout against Canada.

I also wouldn't use one of the early 2nd rounders on Tychonick after seeing his U18 performance. Clearly he wasn't overwhelmed playing against far better competition than he's used to, but the offensive dynamism wasn't there at all. His shot looked weak, he played too passive, just content to be avoiding mistakes. Even his passing skills looked just okay, even though that's supposed to be his strong suit. And it's not like he didn't get his chances on the PP unit...

Late 2nd round, you're looking to bolster up the back end. The following Ds are still available: who's your pick and why?

Addison
Bahl
Beaudin
Bernard-Docker
Ginning
Miller
Tychonick

I'd give Addison and Bernard-Docker some careful thought, but to me's it's Beaudin. He's a October 1999 birthdate, so a tad older than all of the other guys, but his smarts made me a fan this season.

You have to see the Voltigeurs play regularly to see how much his progress was a big part in his team's offensive production skyrocketing in the 2nd half. I'd venture to say his presence was as essential as Veleno's.

My guess is there's a 40 to 50% chance he drops that far into the 2nd.
