Not a fan of Woo. But yeah I only really see Alexeyev, Sandin and Lundkvist. Merkley if he makes it. I'm pretty sure all those guys are going to be gone though. I'd rather just go something like Berggren, Dellandrea, Shafigullin, Hillis, Morozov for our 2nds and 3rds.

Merkley.... biggest mystery of the draft! He could go absolutely anywhere!!

I get so pissed off watching him play. I keep saying "Oh My God" after each shift, and it always alternates from a good way to a bad way. Still insanely talented, surely worth the gamble in the 2nd. I think he goes late 1st.
 
Lauko might suffer from Higgins-itis at times but at that point in the draft they all have a knock one way or the other. He finds ways to provide offense, his speed alone is a PITA to contain.

You guys are sleeping on Tychonick, like really. He has literally every skill he needs to succeed at the next level.

Skating, check.
Accurate array of shot, check.
Nhl size, check.
Passing ability, check.
Chip on his shoulder, check.
2000 bday, check.

I'd give Addison and Bernard-Docker some careful thought, but to me's it's Beaudin. He's a October 1999 birthdate, so a tad older than all of the other guys, but his smarts made me a fan this season.

You have to see the Voltigeurs play regularly to see how much his progress was a big part in his team's offensive production skyrocketing in the 2nd half. I'd venture to say his presence was as essential as Veleno's.

My guess is there's a 40 to 50% chance he drops that far into the 2nd.

I like Beaudin. He's no Girard skating-wise but his IQ is off the charts.

He seems like a pretty smart kid for his age tbh, you can see the effort he puts in his video, but at the same time his vids feel very cringy, I can't watch them more than a minute. The thing is that his video are hard to dodge, they always pop up everywhere because he is smart enough to use keywords in his description.
