Nothing less.

I'd put a condition that they have to take Zadina at 3rd and screw over the Sens. Then the Sens consider Dobson, Boqvist, Wahlstrom, Tkachuk. Habs take Kotkaniemi. Doubt the Sens go after Kotkaniemi. Would they?

Interesting. I was thinking they would go after Boqvist or Dobson to replace Karlsson who looks to be as good as gone.

But some quotes in the Blackbook indicate that Ottawa may be looking at D as well.

Anything our resident NCAA peeps can tell us about Hutsko? @montreal?

He's super intriguing. A month younger than Poehling and just a couple older than Tkachuk, produced the same numbers on a mediocre BC team as a freshman. Was apparently a unanimous selection for the Hockey East all-rookie team in front of Makar, Bowers and Tkachuk.

Seems to have all kinds of offensive tools. Not to mention he'll likely be playing with Wahlstrom next season so he could be poised to explode offensively.

I liked what i saw from him, here's what I posted at the time in the draft thread,

Watched the BC - SCSU game, was really impressed with Logan Hutsko, he was passed over last year while with the USNDTP and he's undersized but really good speed and is off to a good start so far as a Freshman.

and in the prospect thread when talking to Pompeius Magnus,

yea they lost a lot of their upper classman but still have impressive goaltending and the coach with the most wins in NCAA history. Did you get to see any of the games? was wondering if you noticed BC's Logan Hutsko, he gave them fits this series although more so Friday night as SCSU really shut them down last night until later in the game.

Oh for sure, he's hard not to notice and the commentators were talking about him a lot too since he's such an interesting story ( freshman who lost almost the entire 16-17 season to injury but is one of the top producing forwards this year) . He's a real dynamo, although he looks SUPER skinny and small out there. He's got some bulking up to do in the future. BC is one of the best programs in the NCAA so he'll be in very good hands, no worries there.

Hmm, payoff could be great but that's a pretty big gamble. If they finish 5th last and get bumped down 3, you essentially dropped 5 spots for a 2nd round pick.

Projections doesn't exactly push that possibility up.

BUT

Projections are wrong 75% of the time, especially when made by fans and scouting agencies.

He's still a PPG player on a team that is lacking in the big areas like we are. Tkachuk doesn't push the needle for them.
