I'm here. He hasn't been good enough. He's not the same player I've seen in Niagara.

But Veleno has been really poor. Skating around with the puck and accomplishing a whole lotta nothing.

Morozov's been very good at both ends of the ice for Russia these past U18s. Had some good moments in the playoffs.

That he's a high skill level center with defensive acumen should draw some eyes. Wouldn't be surprised if a team grabs him late 2nd.

And the main knock on Brady is... drunroll... production.

But his production would be very impressive for a freshman defenseman........ No drunroll (not sure what that is but it sounds delicious ) necessary..

i don't know much about Morozov so can't make a comparison, but Hayton has been great in the playoffs. 200 foot, shut down C, takes all difficult draws and is still PPG. A team in the top half of the first round will fall in love with him for sure.

He's a snore fest out there, offensively. I don't really see much offense in him.

Hes the typical guy that will translate is net close offense but nothing else.

Theres a pool of like 60 or 70 players i love that i aint gonna be mad if we come out with at any spots, not counting the first 20ish locks. Its going to be a great draft.


We could be looking at sending this bag of **** of a prospect pool straight to contention for first in the league with a single draft, thats so damn great.

It's certainly looking better and better the more I get to know the players. There's too many guys that could be 1st's to fit into the 1st. Thats good!!

Keep in mind we often overshoot players around here. Theres typically 3 out of 5 guys we like that makes it id say.

Wylie's my favourite, does everything right, jack of all trades.

Kral is fantastic offensively but he can still step it up

Barteaux did very well on a less than average Rebels team and I think he has a lot of potential

Zabransky was great but his second half was less than spectacular, dropped my ranking a bit

Hartje looks great but I'd like to see more of him, especially on his new team

If that... But it's still a nice crop this year...

It's not an exact science and every pro team makes mistakes EVERY year...

I'm still excited. It's been a tough year for the organization and this is exactly what the team needs.

Hughes and Tkachuk are both 99's and that makes a difference. I think guys like Wahlstrom and Boqvist still have more growing to do... Kotkienemi too. He is very young also. I'm a bit more enticed by those guys if we end up 5 or 6.
